How is my website customized?
You'll work with your Site Customizer, usually over email, to tell them how you want your website customized. Send them the logos, images, and text, and they'll get it done. You can also tell them if you want features added or removed. Find out more about how it works →
How long does it take to customize?
Once we receive your site info, you can expect to see a preview site within 2-3 business days. The preview site can go live immediately upon your approval.
How much is customization?
Initial customization is free with all of our monthly plans. Once your site is published, any updates that require developer time costs $5 per 6 minutes. You can learn more on our detailed pricing page.
Do I need separate hosting?
Nope, hosting is incluced with all of our plans, and automatically taken care of for you.
How long are your contracts?
All Pixel Canopy sites are paid month-to-month, and you can cancel your plan anytime.
Do I need a domain name?
Yes, you will need your own domain name which you may purchase on your own, or you can purchase it through your Pixel Canopy account after you create a site with us.
How much does a domain cost?
Domain registration has a broad price range and therefore can't be included in our monthly plans. For most domain names, registration is $7-16 per year. However, some "premium" domain names can cost thousands of dollars, so you just have to check and see.
What if I already have a domain name?
No problem. Pixel Canopy can work with a domain registered from anywhere. You can even transfer your domain to Pixel Canopy, and we'll manage it for free. Any registration renewal costs are passed through with 0% markup.
What if I already have a site?
We'll work with you to get it redesigned and transferred over to Pixel Canopy. Depending on the size and functionality of your exisiting site, free customization might not apply, but we try our best to offer it whenever possible.
What if I already have an email account at my domain?
You'll still be able to keep your accounts. Just let us know which email provider you use and, we'll take care of the details.
